Patients First Health Care Adds Podiatrist to Physician Group
Washington, MO, March 18, 2011 - Reed W. Luikaart, DPM, FACFAS, is joining Patients First in
Washington and will begin seeing patients on Monday, April 4, 2011. Dr. Luikaart, a board-certified
podiatrist, will see patients in Washington in the Patients First Orthopedics Offices on Monday and
Thursday to start, and will increase his schedule as his practice expands in Washington.
Dr. Luikaart is a skilled podiatric specialist highly trained in diagnosing and treating diseases and
disorders of the foot and ankle. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (636) 322-3381.
Dr. Luikaart received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl
College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, which was followed by a one year surgical residency at
Northwest General Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He spent three years in private practice in Mesa,
Arizona, and one year at the Community Hospital of Tallassee, Alabama, prior to returning to Missouri
and starting his private practice, Wentzville Foot and Ankle, in 2000. Dr. Luikaart will see patients in
Washington and Wentzville.
Dr. Luikaart is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. His professional
memberships include the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Missouri Podiatric Medical
Association, and the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Luikaart is also a Fellow of the American
College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Luikaart will join other Patients First physicians in offering NextMD® to his patients, a secure
