Cara Stratman Knox Joins Patients First Health Care
Washington, Mo., May 12, 2011 – Patients First Health Care is proud to announce that
Cara Stratman Knox is now Director of Marketing and Communications. Ms. Knox is
responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing, communications, and customer
service initiatives for all 21 locations of Patients First.
Following graduation from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., Ms. Knox attended
Boston University, receiving a master of science in public relations with an emphasis in
corporate communications. She then worked for two global public relations firms in Boston,
London, New York, and Washington, D.C., developing and executing integrated marketing
strategies, directing media relations programs, and creating public education campaigns for
both U.S. and international clients.
Most recently, Ms. Knox served as marketing and communications director for
Accenture, a global management consulting, technology and outsourcing company. In this
position, Ms. Knox leveraged multiple communication channels to market Accenture’s services
to the federal government, including civilian, defense, border management, and public safety
agencies. Her work for Accenture has been recognized with a PRSA Big Apple, Silver SABRE
and client team of the year awards.
A Washington, Mo. native, Ms. Knox is an active member of the Washington Area
Chamber of Commerce and board member with several organizations, including Gateway
Center for the Arts and the Stephens College Alumnae Club of St. Louis.
